NURSE CALL AND REAL TIME LOCATING

As individuals with dementia essentially suffer from loss of memory and motor skills and decline in their ability to think clearly and process information there is a propensity to become confused, to wander or become lost even in the confines of familiar setting. This creates a greater chance for accidents, falls or situations where the resident requires immediate assistance. In order to maintain the safest and most secure environment for our residents, Marjorie House is equipped with a state of the art Nurse Call System with Real Time Locating Services.

Marjorie House is equipped with a system that interacts and communicates between the Nurse Call System and the Real Time Locating Service, providing a comprehensive system that meets the unique needs of our residents and facility.

The system consists of emergency pull cord alarm switches, that are located in every apartment, bathroom and common area of the facility. Signaling an emergency requires just a short pull on the cord, in any direction. Each staff member Is equipped with a pager that provides real time locating, which indicates where the individual is located and details of the emergency.
